hello from artist on a bike...

I am a freelance visual artist who works with drawing, painting, printmaking and stitch. My studio work is motivated by my love of long distance road cycling - and I mean LONG distances. I make screen prints, hand stitched books, cards and more inspired by my time on the road, the people I ride with and the cafes we stop in. I quite like cakes and poached eggs, though not together. That would be weird!

I facilitate creative groups in all sorts of places including schools, hospitals and galleries, for a variety of groups exploring different techinques and themes. I like inspiring people to get arty, to dispel the common myth that "I'm not good at art". We can all have a go. 

NEWSFLASH...... I will be exhibiting/selling at the Arts & Crafts Fair, as part of Chorlton Arts Festival...Sat May 18th (11-4 pm) St Clement's Church, Chorlton, South Manchester. New work including screen prints, hand stitched books, cards etc.
